Attention all fly tiers.  Flies For Fins, a fundraiser to help out our pacific run Steelhead, was recently started by  good friend of DS Fly Fishing, April Vokey. 

April is a fishing guide with Fly Gal Ventures and the West Coast field editor of The Canadian Fly Fisher Magazine.  No money required.  What April is looking for are your mad skills as a fly tier.  Whip up some of your favorite steelhead patterns and send them on.  That's all there is to it.  April is working with a whole bunch of B.C. fly shops that will display and sell these worldly flies on fundraiser designated cork boards.  All the money made from these cork boards gets donated to the Steelhead Society.  The money will be put towards habitat restoration and several other similar projects, which ultimately will help save all Anadromous species.
